Fundraising
Typically our chapter does pizza sales in efforts to fundraise. This year we attempted to combine both a bake sale and pizza sale in hopes of raising more funds. The semester kicked off with an outdoor fundraiser at NIU’s MLK Commons with volunteers from NSBE membership. The fundraisers are also a great way to enhance NSBE’s exposure on campus by recruiting new members.
As we continued our sales into the spring we limited them down to just the pizza sales where most of our sales came from. We made more profits in the spring term than in the previous semester. But due to unforeseen circumstances, we weren’t able to finish the semester as strong as we would have liked. Apart from that, it was still a successful semester.
